Marijuana has the chemical tetrahydrocannabinol, known as THC, and 400 other chemicals some of which cause cancer.
 

Pot affects judgment, motor coordination and short-term memory, causes increased heart rate anxiety and paranoia.
 

  • Long term marijuana smokers experience brain affects similar to those caused by prolonged use of cocaine and heroin.
